15 Ambitions 2018+ Achievements 2018 Our Planet Less than 1.5 percent of waste disposed as landfill/deposit by 2018 Based on our 2016 scope, 1.5 percent of the waste was sent to landfill, in line with our ambition set in 2015. Reduce net CO 2 emis- sions per processed raw material unit Net CO 2 emissions increased by 0.74 percent for the AAK scope 2016 sites. The main reasons are that the US East Coast suffered colder temperatures than usual in January–February requiring more energy than usual.
